Frank Maffa Receives Lifetime Achievement Award For Long Term Commitment to Industry Education

 
May 21, 2008 -- The Reinsurance Association of America (RAA) and the Griffith Insurance Education Foundation have awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award to Munich Re America’s Frank Maffa. The award recognizes insurance professionals who have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to insurance/reinsurance education and professional development. Frank joined Munich Re America in 1988. The first educational programs he developed and facilitated for the Company were "Lunch and Learn" sessions about insurance accounting in 1989.

“To say that Frank Maffa is a remarkable educator is truly an understatement,” said RAA President Frank Nutter. “We are indeed proud to recognize him for his tireless and longstanding commitment to education and as an exceptional role model for the younger generation of insurance professionals.”
